ISU on Fire and MORE work days
Here's a quick update on what's going on this last week:1) Indiana State had a fire at Blumberg Hall. It wasn't catastrophic, but it did displace 2 floors of students. Luckily, there were no major injuries. All of this was the result of a candle that was left unattended. Here is a shot of the exterior damage (the inside looks much worse).
If you've ever seen Revenge of the Nerds, you can picture what 100 students look like when they are piled into a gym following fire. Speaking of Revenge of the Nerds....in the great words of Booger, "WTF is a Frush"?
2) The final apartment unit is coming along nicely. As you can see, we framed up a third bedroom and Sarah got a ton of painting done. I also dropped the old black duct work and replaced it with a sweet looking sheet metal duct work. Sarah and I were both pretty happy with the results. Carpet is going in this Thursday.
