Birthdays, Weddings, Brian Missing? Oh, My

It's been a busy week. It started off with the drywall getting started in the new duplex. Things are progressing smoothly there. It looks like we may have our flooring going in at the end of next week.

I've been getting great workouts in every day and I'm happy to report that I should be down to my fighting weight in the next month. Dax accompanies me every night on our workouts and then flops down in the biggest mud/water hole that he can find. Sarah has been running every now and then too. This is Dax and his neighbor friend "Buddy". They get into trouble every time they're together. Dax loves playing though. Cami, Nate and Jack came over for dinner early in the week and Dax made another friend...Jack. Dax is usually pretty stingy with his bed, but he didn't mind sharing a little with Jack --- even when being hit in the head with a spoon.

Sarah started her 4 day work week at ISU this week, so she now gets every other Monday and Friday off. Can you say 4 day weekend! It's an experimental thing that ISU is trying over the summer.

We've done some work on the apartments getting ready for Zach to move in. And, we went out early in the week to celebrate his 20th birthday (I didn't get any pictures yet because I forgot my camera and Zach hasn't emailed the pics he took with his phone ---- he's still pretty immature, but way more mature than I).

Sarah, Genny, Randy, Somer and I head to Evansville tomorrow to hit a wedding reception. That's right, I said reception only.....no wedding to attend, which is great because weddings are very overrated. I have no idea who this person is, so I'm only looking forward to a few things: 1) the wedding cake, and 2) taking some candid shots with the cameras that they leave on the tables. By the way, what's up with Brian dodging out on another outing? And, this outing involves a casino. He must be having an affair or he is going to see the premier of Sex and the City (I can't think of any other reason he would miss it). We booked a room at Casino Aztar, so I plan on winning huge sums of money at the poker table. It should be a good Saturday night and Sunday morning for me. I'll have the full report for Monday.
