At Least the Stadium is Nice

The first game (pre-season) at the new Lucas Oil Stadium was last night. We squared off against the Buffalo Bills in a game that was really ugly. If we ever have to rely on any of the quarterbacks that played last night, we are in serious trouble. We met Rick, Joan and Jill for dinner at The Boatyard prior to the game. This was Sarah and my first time there and it was pretty good. I had the buffalo chicken sandwich and half of Sarah's pizza and then had to roll myself to the car.
But, the new stadium is really nice. It's HUGE (apparently, you can fit 3 RCA domes in it) and they advertise on about every square inch of it. The retractable top and the windows that open make for a really cool atmosphere, but I'm still pretty partial to the old dome. The acoustics aren't nearly as good in the new stadium and there is no way we'll be able to be as loud as we were before, but at least we will all have our own separate seats and cup holders. It always sucked when you got to your seat and realized that the guy next to you is 6'8" and 400 pounds and he would be taking his seat and your seat for the game.
Check out this picture. How awesome would it be to be the guy in this picture whose job it is to video the cheerleaders for the the whole game. You would get off of work and every other chick you meet would be a let down after that.

We were there too! I was amazed at how cool the stadium looked. Of course we could only stay till half-time since we had a 4 hour drive home. I don't think we missed much!

Who let Zack into the game without something colts on? Even Brian (Mr. Cowboy) wore a colts jersey last year?
