Viva Las Vegas

We're back from our 7 day escapade in Vegas. Once again, we loved it. And, we did more than just gamble this year. I wrapped up a few days of insurance stuff when we got there and then we had all kinds of time to do a lot of stuff. We went to the Hoover Dam (it's pretty impressive) and for those of you wanting to drive across it, you better hurry; they're working on a bridge now that will bypass the dam. Also, we hit Red Rock Canyon, which is a large park that is really cool. It has 13 miles of roads in the park and miles and miles of trails to hike or run. I would have loved to have ran a few of the trails, but 1) I didn't bring my running shorts that day, and 2) when we got to the park, it was around 112 degrees.
Sarah got a decent amount of shopping in too. Only two new pairs of shoes purchased while we were out there. We also went to see the World Series of Poker Main Event at the Rio. They were down to 50 players, so it was pretty cool to see the action. I don't know why I didn't enter this year.....oh yeah, I think it was the $10,000 entry fee.

Plus, we went to visit Randy "The Natural" Couture's gym. Sarah bought a shirt while I stood in amazement looking at the place.

The casino's were good to us too. We were up some days and down some days.

All in all, it was a darn good week for us. We'll do it again in the near future.
