Retirement Plans for Employees of Small Businesses

We wrapped up the week at ISU by hosting United States Senator Todd Young and Secretary of Labor Alexander Acosta in the Magna Carta room. 

Senator Young and Secretary Acosta spoke about bipartisan retirement security legislation and policy.  Both gentlemen pledged support for plans that would increase the availability of retirement plans that could be offered to employees of small businesses without additional administrative burdens and prohibitive costs.   This will be a huge benefit for small businesses and their employees. Additionally, in the new (and growing) gig economy, this will be needed to encourage the changing workforce to save for retirement.
