More Bobcat Sightings at The Sycamore Winery

Bobcats are running rampant at The Sycamore Winery in western Vigo County! For those of you that don't know, the winery is located in west central Indiana.  While bobcats are present in the State, they are few in numbers and it is uncommon to see them (especially during the daytime).
 Last week I was able to take these pictures of a large bobcat strolling past me on the winery property.
It walked through like it owned the place, paying no mind to me.  Given its size, I'm pretty sure that it was sending me the message that it was the big cat and owned this land. 
We have been getting trail cam pics of several bobcats on our property over the last several months; however, the pics are always at night, as it is rare to see bobcats in the daytime hours.
This trail cam pic shows a smaller bobcat that enjoys a cozy corner of the winery property.  I believe he has a favorite hollowed out tree where he has his den.

It's been great to learn more about these beautiful animals and see the interest in the community.
