Inauguration 2017
A recap:
I have the honor of chaperoning 100 Indiana State University students on a trip that will allow them to be a part of history.
Some will protest.
Some will applaud.
At the end of the day, we will all board the same bus to go home.
We all sit next to each other.
We all share the same food, drinks, and bathroom.
On a charter bus there is no divide between rich and poor, or left and right.
We can all fight for what we are passionate about, represent our cause, and agree to disagree on some things while still being tolerant and accepting of those around us.
Fly your flag, whether it's for unity, freedom, opportunity, equality, or pride.
