THE DOOR is in

The front door is finally in. I bought this door off of craigslist 4 years ago and I've been talking about it ever since.  We did a lot of manipulating to make our house compatible with it. 
 It's solid mahogany, 6 foot wide and 8 feet tall.
 It is awesome!
We also added some detail on the top of the pillars supporting the portico.  You can see how we flared out the tops of the pillars in both of these pics.

Love those doors! They look like they could withstand a battering ram. Or a two-year old wielding a stick/bat/golf club/tricycle.

I hope the doors will withstand a two year old wielding all of those things because India has been known to destroy things.
