Where's Johnnie Cochran Now? Norm Strikes Back!
It's amazing how money and fame can get you out of things. Unfortunately for OJ, he lost the civil trial and most of his money.....so, no more high priced Johnnie Cochran and crew of expensive attorneys. OJ might as well have gone with a court appointed attorney. His attorney actually stated something the effect of, "OJ never intended to commit armed robbery, the situation just escalated after they arrived and there were weapons involved". Well, I don't know about you, but in my opinion I guess that makes it OK to commit armed robbery. Everyone should use what will now be called the "It was an Accident and I Didn't Mean to Commit Armed Robbery" defense. What kind of boneheaded attorney makes a statement like that?
After the verdict, I think I could hear Norm yelling down, "Where's Johnnie Cochran now?". (and then a few obscenities about how the Braves didn't make the playoffs again)
If you're thinking about early Christmas gift ideas, you may want to consider OJ's latest book, "If I Did It 2: Armed Robbery in Vegas".
